911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 120 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 80 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 37 calls; Spindale had 13 calls; Lake Lure had 11 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 62 calls and Rescue had 8 calls.

Fire Calls

Cherry Mountain Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire; Cliffside firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Ellenboro Fire Department was called to an electrical fire; Forest City firefighters were dispatched to a grass fire; Hudlow Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident.

Arrests

Lawrence David Bradley, 46, Byers Road in Forest City, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation out of county; $5,000 bond.
Jennifer Marie Craig, 31, Weathers Street in Spindale, was charged with assault and battery; $1,000 unsecured bond.
Chad Timothy Piercy, 33, W.E. Padgett Road in Bostic, was charged with resisting a public officer, felony probation violation and failure to appear on non-support of a child; $5,000 bond.
James Eric Price, 20, RSW Trail in Mooresboro, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; $1,000 bond.
Juwan Lee Watkins, 17, East 2nd Street in Rutherfordton, was charged with misdemeanor discharging a firearm in city limits; written promise to appear.
Jeffrey Elijah Whitesides, 28, Harris Henrietta Road in Mooresboro, was charged with two counts misdemeanor probation violation and misdemeanor larceny; $15,000 bond.
