911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 182 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 85 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 34 calls; Spindale had 38 calls; Lake Lure had 9 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 48 calls and Rescue had 27 calls.

Fire Calls

SDO Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident and a power line fire.

Arrests

Jeffrey Benard Brown, 47, Cherry Street in Hendersonville, was charged with resisting a public officer, larceny defeat anti-theft device, misdemeanor larceny, driving while license revoked, four counts failure to appear on driving while license revoked, failure to appear on misdemeanor larceny, failure to appear on shoplifting/concealment of goods, failure to appear on speeding and failure to appear on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; $25,300 bond.

Donna Kaye Castro, 37, Newton Cole Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation; $5,000 bond.

Douglas Blake Cheeseman, 25, Big Springs Avenue in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on misdemeanor larceny; $10,000 bond.

Christine Ann Edwards, 49, Walnut Tree Street in Hendersonville, was charged with aiding and abetting driving while license revoked and misdemeanor aiding and abetting; $2,500 bond.

Adam Lee Thompson, 24, Wagon Trail in Mooresboro, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; $1,500 bond.
