Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 134 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 78 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 25 calls; Spindale had 21 calls; Lake Lure had 12 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 38 calls and Rescue had 11 calls.
Cliffside Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident and a field fire; Forest City firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident.
Christina Terry Braun, 36, Old Ball Park Road in Spindale, was charged with shoplifting/concealment of goods and possession of drug paraphernalia; $1,000 unsecured bond.
Brian Keith Cole, 26, Hotel Street in Cliffside, was charged with two counts possession of a firearm by a felon, felony probation violation, failure to appear on no operator's license, driving/allowing a motor vehicle with no registration, resisting a public officer, failure to appear on driving while license revoked, driving while license revoked, operating a vehicle with no insurance and fictitious/cancelled/revoked/altered registration card or tag; $59,500 bond.
Angela Terry Merck, 38, U.S. Highway 120 in Mooresboro, was charged with failure to appear on misdemeanor charges; $10,000 bond.
Cory Lee Owens, 36, McGinnis Road in Forest City, was charged with simple possession of a controlled substance, driving while license revoked and failure to comply with child support; $2,500 bond.
Demien Percell Price, 31, West Haven Street in Forest City, was charged with driving while license revoked and resisting a public officer; $1,000 bond.
Larry Donald Rutherford, 54, Madison Avenue in Asheville, was charged with failure to appear on assault on a female and failure to appear on injury to personal property; $5,000 bond.
Joel Bradley Withers, 49, Maryland Street in Spindale, was charged with five counts felony conversion; $25,000 unsecured bond.
Nathaniel Dawate Young, 31, Hardin Road in Forest City, was charged with soliciting alms/begging for money; $225 bond.
