Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 150 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 88 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 24 calls; Spindale had 23 calls; Lake Lure had 9 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 33 calls and Rescue had 10 calls.
Forest City Fire Rescue was dispatched to a gas leak and a brush fire; Hudlow firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton Fire Rescue was called to a motor vehicle accident.
Rebecca Leigh Absher, 34, Poors Ford Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; written promise to appear.
Christopher William Baker, 21, Boykins Road in Augusta, Ga., was charged with second-degree trespassing; $2,500 bond.
Cheron Nicole Davis, 22, Old Sunshine Road in Bostic, was charged with failure to appear on misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor probation violation; $6,000 bond.
