911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 314 calls over the weekend; Forest City police had 172 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 94 calls; Spindale had 65 calls; Lake Lure had 53 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 86 calls and Rescue had 103 calls.

Fire Calls

Bill's Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a woods fire; Cliffside firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident, a brush fire and a grass fire; Cherry Mountain Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident and a brush fire; Forest City firefighters were dispatched to an electrical fire and a fire investigation; Green Hill Fire Department responded to a fire alarm; Lake Lure firefighters were called to a house fire; Rutherfordton Fire Rescue was dispatched to an appliance fire; Spindale firefighters responded to two motor vehicle accidents; Union Mills Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident and a power line fire.
