Court ordered execution sale postponed
The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Civil Division will be conducting a court ordered "execution sale" on Thursday, July 17 at 10 a.m.
The sale was originally scheduled for Friday, July 11. It will be held at 207 Fairground Road in Spindale.
The postponement is due to the fact that the Sheriff's Office had not yet received the required paperwork from the DMV.
To be sold is a 2005 Honda CRV, gold in color, four doors, leather interior and power windows/sunroof.
The vehicle has 95,829 miles and will be sold as is.
Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 160 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 69 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 31 calls; Spindale had 16 calls; Lake Lure had 9 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 39 calls and Rescue had 9 calls.
Bostic Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Cherry Mountain firefighters responded to a smoke report; Ellenboro Fire Department was called to an industrial fire alarm; Sandy Mush firefighters were dispatched to a fire investigation.

Thomas Alan Demicki, 22, Oakland Road in Spindale, was charged with driving while impaired; $1,000 bond.
Danny Gene Francis, 41, Cliffside Street in Mooresboro, was charged with communicating threats and simple assault; $13,000 bond.
Pamela Michelle Green, 22, Hough Street in Monroe, was charged with resisting a public officer; $5,000 bond.
Janay Lacole Greene, 26, Johnson Street in Spindale, was charged with common law robbery and assault and battery; $10,000 bond.
Amy Laura Helms, 31, South White Street in Marshallville, was charged with identity theft, resisting a public officer, two counts obtaining property by false pretense, failure to heed a light or siren, possession/manufacture of a fraudulent ID and driving while license revoked; $63,000 bond.
Mark Anthony King, 31, Wells Drive in Forest City, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive behavior and injury to real property; $1,500 bond.
Julianne Bocchino Mathis, 35, Roberson Road in Forest City, was charged with simple worthless check; written promise to appear.
Miranda Leighan Penton, 32, Eastview Street in Bostic, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; $2,000 bond.
Donna Michelle Praytor, 29, Whiteside Road in Forest City, was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense, attempting to obtain property by false pretense and two counts misdemeanor larceny; $6,000 bond.
Zachery Cole Price, 20, Woodland Hollow in Forest City, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance; written promise to appear.
