Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 158 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 81 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 32 calls; Spindale had 44 calls; Lake Lure had 6 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 46 calls and Rescue had 15 calls.

Fire Calls

Bills Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a grass fire; Forest City firefighters responded to a structure fire, a motor vehicle accident and an industrial fire alarm; Lake Lure Fire Department was called to a smoke report; SDO firefighters were dispatched to a chimney fire; Rutherfordton Fire Department responded to an appliance fire and a chimney fire; Spindale firefighters were called to an electrical fire.
