Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 106 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 81 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 20 calls; Spindale had 20 calls; Lake Lure had 7 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 64 calls and Rescue had 18 calls.

Fire Calls

Bills Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Forest City firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton Fire Department was called to two motor vehicle accidents.

Arrests

Bruce Dale Bradley, 40, Casey Drive in Bostic, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver, delivering a controlled substance and conspiring to sell/deliver a controlled substance; $50,000 bond.
