Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 142 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 79 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 47 calls; Spindale had 16 calls; Lake Lure had 11 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 58 calls and Rescue had 32 calls.
Forest City Fire Rescue was dispatched to a smoke investigation and a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Sandy Mush Fire Department was called to a brush fire; Spindale firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident.
Michael Don Bolden, 46, Franklin Drive in Forest City, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving while impaired; $6,000 unsecured bond.
Robert James Gonzalez, 23, Whitaker Road in Shelby, was charged with failure to appear on reckless driving to endanger; $500 bond.
Scotty Lynn Ward, 34, Northwoods Drive in Bessemer City, was charged with failure to appear on resisting a public officer and failure to appear on misdemeanor charges; $25,000 bond.
