Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 352 calls over the weekend; Forest City police had 202 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 101 calls; Spindale had 100 calls; Lake Lure had 24 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 133 calls and Rescue had 125 calls.

Fire Calls

Bills Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Bostic firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Cherry Mountain Fire Department was called to an appliance fire; Cliffside firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident and a structure fire; Forest City Fire Department responded to a structure fire and a motor vehicle accident; Green Hill firefighters were called to two motor vehicle accidents; Hudlow Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton firefighters responded to a vehicle fire; SDO Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident; Sandy Mush firefighters were dispatched to a brush fire; Shingle Hollow Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident.

Travis Scott Clayton, 32, Rainbow Rapids Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; $5,000 unsecured bond.
Jason Richard Coffey, 43, Vista Apartment Drive in Lake Lure, was charged with extradition of a fugitive to another state; $20,000 bond.
Sallie Crutcher Cowan, 52, West Sixth Street in Rutherfordton, was charged with driving while impaired and aggressive driving; $3,000 unsecured bond.
Matthew Brian Crowe, 23, Alabama Street in Spindale, was charged with driving while impaired and failure to burn headlamps; $1,000 unsecured bond.
Daveion Markez Flack, 21, Seitz Drive in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on simple possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear on possession of drug paraphernalia; $5,000 bond.
