Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 241 calls over the weekend; Forest City police had 155 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 59 calls; Spindale had 41 calls; Lake Lure had 14 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 70 calls and Rescue had 63 calls.

Fire Calls

Bills Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident and a fire alarm; Ellenboro firefighters responded to two motor vehicle accidents; Forest City Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident and a fire alarm; Lake Lure firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident; Sandy Mush firefighters were called to a motor vehicle accident.

Arrests

Allison Stubbs Allen, 40, Robin Hood Drive in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on shoplifting concealment of goods; $500 bond.

James William Boyce, 40, Westwood Drive in Forest City, was charged with assault on a female; 48-hour hold.

Teneza Lewis Crenshaw, 59, Washington Heights in Forest City, was charged with failure to stop for hit and run property damage, driving while license revoked and driving while impaired; $2,000 bond.

Devonte Hakeem Duffy, 23, Gypsy Street in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on driving while license revoked; $1,000 bond.

Jody Ray Davis, 27, Wood Drive in Forest City, was charged with attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud/forgery; $5,000 unsecured bond.

Kevin Jack Ervin, 27, Chase High Road in Forest City, was charged with injury to real property; written promise to appear.

Winslow Edwin Thomas Jr., 32, Little Africa Road in Chesnee, S.C., was charged with driving while license revoked, two counts failure to stop at a red light/stop sign, two counts fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, two counts misdemeanor child abuse, two counts second-degree kidnapping, two counts reckless driving to endanger, driving the wrong way on a dual lane road, two counts failure to secure a passenger under 16, two counts speeding, two counts aggressive driving, expired registration card/tag and having no operator's license; $81,000 bond.
