911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 338 calls over the weekend; Forest City police had 223 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 76 calls; Spindale had 82 calls; Lake Lure had 6 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 147 calls and Rescue had 46 calls.

Fire Calls

Bostic Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Cliffside firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Ellenboro Fire Department was called to a field fire; Forest City firefighters were dispatched to three motor vehicle accidents; Rutherfordton Fire and Rescue responded to an industrial fire alarm.

Danny Franklin Bradley, 29, Shires Road in Ellenboro, was charged with two counts of sex offender/child premises; $20,000 bond.
Carl Douglas Dobbins, 45, West Street in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to appear on driving while license revoked and canceled/revoked/suspended certificate or tag; $1,000 bond.
John Thomas Friday, 23, Georgia Street in Spindale, was charged with driving while impaired; $1,000 unsecured bond.
Michael Brian Greene, 38, Painters Gap Road in Union Mills, was charged with non-support of a child; $2,013.36 bond.
