Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 97 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 23 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 5 calls; Spindale had 9 calls; Lake Lure had 1 call; Rutherford County EMS responded to 35 calls and Rescue had 25 calls.
Ellenboro Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire; Hudlow firefighters responded to a fire alarm; SDO Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire; Spindale firefighters were dispatched to a carbon monoxide alarm.
Jason Antonio Lytle, 34, 19th Ann Street in Asheville, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on obtaining property by false pretense; $9,000 bond.
Anthony James Mace, 23, Blossom Drive in Ellenboro, was charged with failure to appear on no operator's license, two counts failure to appear on operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to appear on driving while license revoked, failure to appear on driving/allowing a motor vehicle with no registration card and failure to appear on giving/lending/borrowing a license plate.
