Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 160 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 99 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 48 calls; Spindale had 37 calls; Lake Lure had 9 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 41 calls and Rescue had 30 calls.

Fire Calls

Rutherfordton Fire Department was dispatched to investigate an industrial fire alarm and a smoke report.

Arrests

Phillip Charles Adams, 35, Deerview Drive in Rutherfordton, was charged with assault on a female, assault by strangulation, false imprisonment and misdemeanor probation violation; $40,000 bond.

Dereck James Allison, 31, Tumblewood Court in Spindale, was charged with felony probation violation; $50,000 bond.

Robert Floyd Baker, 48, Bostic Sunshine Highway in Bostic, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; $15,000 bond.

Macy Kinsey Brown, 26, Mount Pleasant Church Road in Forest City, was charged with injury to personal property, resisting a public officer, failure to appear on possession of marijuana, surrender for possession of marijuana, three counts failure to appear on misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, two counts surrender for simple possession of a controlled substance, two counts failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor probation violation and two counts surrender for probation violation; $44,000 bond.

James Donald Dover, 36, Wyoming Street in Spindale, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, conspiring to traffic methamphetamine and two counts conspiring to sell/deliver a controlled substance; $60,000 bond.
