Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 167 calls on Tuesday; Forest City police had 102 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 40 calls; Spindale had 35 calls; Lake Lure had 14 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 52 calls and Rescue had 22 calls.

Fire Calls

Cliffside Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire; Forest City firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Lake Lure Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire; Rutherfordton firefighters were dispatched to a gas leak; Sandy Mush Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident.

Arrests

William Markeith Anderson, 36, Goode Road in Mooresboro, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; $1,000 unsecured bond.

Michael David Chinchar, 49, West McGuinn Road in Mill Spring, was charged with misdemeanor larceny and obtaining property by false pretense; $25,000 bond.
