Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 154 calls on Tuesday; Forest City police had 90 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 24 calls; Spindale had 14 calls; Lake Lure had 5 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 39 calls and Rescue had 10 calls.
Ellenboro Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire; Forest City firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide alarm and a gas leak; Polkville Fire Department was called to a chimney fire with Cherry Mountain and Ellenboro firefighters.
Robert William Arrowood, 27, Sherwood Drive in Rutherfordton, was charged with possession of marijuana; written promise to appear.
William Dean Cloninger, 42, Turner Road in Mill Spring, was charged with failure to appear on driving while license revoked and failure to appear on resisting a public officer; $5,000 bond.
Tiquila C. Logan, 34, McArthur Street in Forest City, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving while license revoked, failure to stop at a stop sign/flashing red light, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; $30,000 bond.
James David Rogers, 54, Gladys Road in Forest City, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive behavior and communicating threats; $3,000 bond.
Wanda Lea Swinton, 23, Mauldin Way in Lake Lure, was charged with assault and battery and injury to personal property; $5,000 unsecured bond.
Rosh Andrew Wheeler, 33, Spindale Street in Spindale, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation, assault on a female, misdemeanor breaking and entering and injury to personal property; $500 bond.
Garry Maurice Wood, 59, Hardin Road in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on second-degree trespassing; $500 bond.
