Shooting for a Cure: Relay for Life benefit at Old Hickory Rifle & Pistol Club, Gun Club Road in Bostic; event begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.; handgun competition and shotgun trap games; bring your own shotgun, pistol and ammo; shotgun ammo will be available for purchase; hotdogs and hamburgers will be for sale; sponsored by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, Butler's Jewelry & Loan and the Old Hickory Rifle & Pistol Club.
Easter Eggstravaganza: Join KidSenses for its Easter Eggstravaganza and Discovery Garden Grand Re-Opening; kids can participate in an Easter egg hunt in the garden at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.; there will also be an egg drop contest using real eggs from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; event is free with paid admission to the museum.
Rutherford County Humane Society (RCHS) Plant Sale: Nice selection of flowering baskets and hanging ferns for sale at Autumn Lanes Bowling Alley, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; live music from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. featuring Phil Ruff and his band Carolina and Pacific playing a mix of classic rock and Americana music; animals will be available for adoption at event; all proceeds benefit animals at the RCHS; for more information call 980-4000.
Carolina Faith Riders Fourth Annual Cruise-in: Blessing of the bikes and fan-voted bike show beginning at 11 a.m. at the Rutherford County Moose Lodge, 548 East U.S. Highway 74B in Bostic; blessing at 1 p.m. and bike show awards at 2 p.m.; music by Blood Bought, food, drinks and door prizes; for more information call 828-289-1944.

Class of 1951 Semi-Annual Reunion: R-S Central class of 1951 will hold its semi-annual reunion at Ryan's at Forest City; meeting at 11 a.m. and lunch at noon.
Easter Egg Hunt: Mary B. Easter Service and Egg Drop: Element Church will hold its annual Easter Service and children's egg drop beginning at 10 a.m. at McNair Stadium in Forest City; thousands of prize-filled eggs will be dropped from a helicopter following the service.
