Rutherford Electric Membership Corporation is having a book sale in the lobby of their office at 186 Hudlow Road in Forest City? Proceeds will benefit the ACS Relay for Life. Hardbacks are $2 and paperbacks are $1. Our hours of operation are 8-5 Monday through Friday. Contact Karen Black for more information at 245-1621, ext 412. The sale will be ongoing for several months.

Beach Bingo at Hickory Log Family Restaurant, at 6 p.m. Proceeds go to Community Pet Center's spay/neuter programs.
