Rutherford County Landfill and 10 convenience centers close at noon on Christmas Eve and will be closed all day on Christmas. All will reopen on Thursday, Dec. 26.

Santa Paws photos with your pets: Bring pets by the Santa House in Forest City for a photo with Santa from 2-6 p.m.; Sundays in December until Christmas; sponsored by the Community Pet Center as a fundraiser for a $5 donation.
