Forest City Christmas Parade: Downtown Forest City 3-5 p.m.; over 300 entries, sponsored by the Forest City Merchants Association.

Spindale Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: 6 p.m. at the Spindale House on West Main Street; community and churches will walk through town singing carols during an interdenominational Advent Candle Walk; reading of the Christmas story, singing of Christmas carols, prayers and meditation; public invited, participants should supply own candles.

Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Reverse Raffle: Boots, BBQ and Bucks dinner and raffle event at 7 p.m., Isothermal Community College Foundation Performing Arts Center; one lucky winner will take home the grand prize of $10,000, plus over $5,000 in cash prizes will be given away. Tickets are $150 and admit two people; to purchase your ticket or for more information call the Chamber office at 287-3090.
