Spindale United Methodist Church Youth is sponsoring their annual coat and blanket drive during November and December; items will be distributed through Yokefellow; drop-off locations are Smith Drugs, Bi-Lo, and the church office.

St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, 330 N. Ridgecrest Ave., Rutherfordton will be selling Chitterlings and Spaghetti plates from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at their Parish Hall; choice of chitterlings & pintos or spaghetti and salad, along with bread and dessert. Plates are $7.
