Martial Arts Demo & Fundraiser: Benefit for the family of the late Tony Jeffords, wife Della and grandchildren Caleb and Angel Spears; 7 p.m. at the Ray Rice Martial Arts Center on Main Street in Forest City; donations accepted and all proceeds go to help for family's food and living expenses.
Zoom Into NANO Traveling Exhibit at KidSenses: Imagine and discover the Nanoscale world in this hands-on, interactive exhibit; explore NANO phenomena and real world applications and implications; the traveling exhibit was created by the Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network and is sponsored by the NC Grassroots Science Museums Collaborative; exhibit runs through March 29.
